With cloud gaming, you don’t need to install any games locally. It’s much easier to try new games, jump between multiple different games without worrying about running out of space, or even play during a commute. While this closed beta focuses only on the Android app, our current cloud plans already allow you to play on select Samsung TVs!
The Utomik Android Closed Beta is part of our journey into the cloud gaming experience. Anyone wishing to participate in the closed beta must be able to say yes to all of the following:

Please sign up for the closed beta with an email address connected to a Utomik account with an active subscription; otherwise, we cannot enable access to the closed beta for you.
As our beta tester, we will ask you to install the Utomik mobile app for Android 9 or higher and play games on your device. Your participation will help us improve performance and the user experience as a whole. Your feedback as a beta tester is worth a lot to us! The closed beta plan is roughly as follows:
Your internet connection is only part of the puzzle. What’s most important is how good your connection to our closest cloud gaming server is. The quality of our stream adjusts itself to your connection (so a slow connection would give you a stream of poorer quality). While playing on mobile data, additional charges from your provider may apply. We recommend using Wi-Fi.
To participate in the closed beta, you need to have a decent internet connection of at least 10 Mpbs with a reliable connection to one of our cloud gaming servers.
Yes, you need to have an active subscription to sign up for the beta. To grant you access to the beta, we need to add the Utomik Cloud Gaming feature to an existing, active subscription. Trial users are also welcome; register for a free trial here!
As per the NDA, you are not allowed to share any information regarding the closed beta publicly. This includes telling your friends, recording videos, posting screenshots to social media, et cetera. Of course, your friends can also sign up for the closed beta and get a chance to get in for the next round of testing.
We will send you a survey via email at the end of the closed beta, where you can share your thoughts and suggestions. It’s very important that you fill in this survey to help us with the launch of open beta. If you run into any issues before then, please use the “Report a problem” button in your settings menu to let us know! Please note that you are not allowed to share any feedback publicly.
If you are experiencing difficulties with the Utomik mobile app, please use the “Report a problem” button in your settings menu or contact our support team to see if we can find a solution! When contacting our support team, please specify which phone or Android version you are using.
Even though we have a massive library of games for PC, our selection of games for the Android closed beta is currently limited. We have a carefully curated batch of games, and we will continue expanding this list in the future. Some game highlights are Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead, Call of the Sea, Demon Hunter 2: New Chapter, Coffee Talk, and Kingdom: New Lands.
No, every game has built-in controls that allow for easy access. However, for certain games we recommend playing with an external controller. If you choose to use one, it’s best to use a controller connected to your device through Bluetooth. Wired controllers will potentially work as well, though you might need an adapter from USB-A to USB-C.
When a game starts, you will briefly see two options in the top left corner of our screen. They will disappear after a short while so you can focus on the game, but you can pull them up at any time by dragging the green bar to the right. The controller icon gives you access to the built-in controller. You can disable the controller by pressing this icon once more.
Utomik Cloud is already available on select Samsung TVs! We expect to have it live for Android devices and in other platforms soon.
Yes, Android 9 or higher is required to participate in the closed beta. To find out what Android version you have may differ depending on the device you’re using but usually, you need to open the Settings app, tap About phone/device and tap Software information. You will be shown all the software information for your device including the Android version you are using.
The countries available for the closed beta are the USA, United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. Don't let that stop you, though. If you are interested, please sign up here! More supported countries may be coming soon.
