Utomik is a highly innovative company operating in the games industry.

We are looking for a qualified Social Media & Community Manager to join our team. We would like to meet you if you are a games enthusiast and experienced in social media, PR, and promotional events.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional soft skills and excellent oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content. You should be a people person with excellent customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.

Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.

Our core team is based in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. This is a full-time position and is currently remote. However, the successful candidate would be expected to have consistent communication with the team through methods such as video call stand-ups and office visits. Only candidates within the European time zones are considered.


  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
  • Provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Coordinate with Marketing, PR, and Communications teams to ensure brand reputation
  • Liaise with Development and Technology departments to stay updated on new products and features
  • Build relationships with users, potential users, industry professionals, and journalists
  • Stay up-to-date and adapt to new industry trends and expectations
  • Establish clear, efficient workflows and guidelines in cooperation with the support team regarding public communication on social channels and to Utomik Ninjas
  • Build relationships, monitor, and handle our ambassador’s program: Utomik Ninjas


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a communications field.
  • Live within European time zones.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong soft skills: empathy, good listening skills, and adaptability
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter)
  • Experience with Photoshop or other photo editing tools
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience with video editing for reels and YouTube.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events)
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Proactive and observant.
  • A passion for gaming of any kind!
